Film Director Sasi Shanker Passes Away

         The National award Winning Malayalam filmmaker Sasi Shanker passed away on Wednesday, Aug, 10 at a private hospital in Kochi.He was found lying unconscious at his residence near Pancode .
   
       Though he was taken to Kolencherry Medical Mission Hospital, his life could not be saved.The director Sasi Shanker made his debut Movie 'Narayam' in 1993 ,which had Urvashi and Murali in the lead roles.

     Sasi Shanker has directed Malayalam Movies Narayam, Mr Butler, Mandramothiram, Gurushishyan, Kunhikoonan ,Sarkar Dada and many others,his Tamil Movie Perazhagan ,last directorial venture was the 2014-released Tamil film Pagadai Pagadai.He won the national award for Malayalam Movie Narayam in 1993.
