Director Rajesh Pillai Passes away at 41 Kochi

Rajesh Pillai  Director of hit Malayalam Film 'Traffic' passed away on Feb 27,

           Malayalam film director Rajesh Pillai died on February 27 2016 at PVS hospital in Kochi. Pillai was 41 years old.He was suffering from a liver problem and had been on ventilator support since Friday.

       Rajesh Pillai Directed Last Movie 'Vettah' was released only Friday across the state.Malayalam Movie industry with his second movie 'Traffic' ushering in a new genre of fast paced sociology thrillers,Its Hindi remake was also directed by him.

      Rajesh Pillai was admitted to the hospital on February 25 and immediately put on the ventilator.Doctors had advised a liver transplant but his health condition was not conducive for the same.

     Rajesh Pillai had to be hospitalized several times during the Film shooting of 'Vettah'.Pillai has also worked as associate director with Viji Thampy and Rajeev Anjan.
