Malayalam Music director Rajamani passes away at 60

     Malayalam Music director Rajamani passes away at a hospital here Sunday night on 14,Feb 2016.

     He was 60 Years old. Rajamani entered Malayalam cinema as a music director through the movie 'Nulli Novikkathe'starring Balan K. Nair and Madhuri in 1985.

      Son of musician B.A. Chidambaranath, Rajamani had also composed songs for over 70 films in Malayalam and other languages.

        He was known for his work in Shaji Kailas' 'Ekalavyan', 'Commissioner', 'The King', 'Aaraam Thampuran' 'Narasimham',and 'Nandanam' among others.He had background music directed for more than 1,000 Movies in Malayalam and other languages.

      He had won the state government award for the background music for the movie 'Aram Thampuran'in 1997. Rajamani's son Achu Rajamani is also a singer & music director, who is busy in the Telugu Movie industry.
