'Munnariyippu' is directed by cameraman-turned-director Venu. The movie is produced by scenarist and director Ranjith and his friends under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures. Unni R scripts the movie.
Prathap Pothen, Nedumudi Venu, Renji Panicker, Joy Mathew, Sreeraman, Sudheesh, and Muthumani also do important roles. Bijibal composes music and Venu himself handles the camera.
